About Me

Hello! My name is Jorge. I am an XR Interaction Designer and Researcher with a background in Computer Engineering. I am passionate about building robust interactive systems—from initial spatial concepts to highly optimized technical implementation. I thrive at the intersection of pioneering new technical ideas and conducting rigorous analysis of how these systems influence user behavior.

My core focus is on interaction design, system architecture, and player experience. I have specialized experience in Extended Reality (XR) systems and experimental interaction design for simulation and education. I am particularly interested in the emerging potential of Adaptive Systems in Mixed Reality (MR), gesture recognition, and data-driven simulation. I enjoy collaborating in interdisciplinary teams to connect mechanics and data, creating meaningful and intuitive user choices.

When I am not prototyping systems, you will probably find me exploring new music, tinkering with PC hardware, or hanging out with dogs.
